Municipal Assessment and Renovation/Expansion in Birmingham

Birmingham Police Department/City Hall Assessment and Conceptual Designs for Renovations/Expansion - The Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police (MACP) Law Enforcement Accreditation Program has recommended The City of Birmingham Police Department consider renovations to the existing building to provide a more secure and safe environment. We conducted interviews with Police Department employees and City administrative staff to gain an understanding of their safety security needs and programmatic needs. We also furnished a report assessing building accessibility based on ADA standards and reviewed mechanical, electrical plumbing, and structural issues. Our goal is to establish a consolidated, secure, high functioning layout that works for the police department and the community, while improving everyday life for all occupants. As Founder / Architect for ENNEcollaborative I used Revit to create schematic design documents and construction documents, preformed field visits, and coordinated engineers.
